Puppet show of grasshopper and an ant….
What is our topic today?
Today will study narrative text
Ask students about the previous lesson about recount text?
When did you use recount text?
Narrative text: introduction of the characters, problems, resolution
The purpose is to entertain the readers
It contains moral value!
Do you know what moral value is?
Game:
Six volunteers divided into two groups
Wall star’s existence
Please imagine the volunteers are the actor and the actress
The other students have to be a good audience
Envelope…… contain of the story and script that should be role played
Using property, they have to perform the role play
One of them should be the narrator and the rest should be the actor and the threes
“Goose that laid a golden egg” and “the lion and the mouse”
The other students were asked to choose which one is better between the two performances
Who are the participants in the story?
What is the title of the story of the group B?
What is the problem in both of the story?
What is the moral value of the second story?
Which one is the best? Why?
The teacher gives books to the winner

"Spoof"
Ayu explained what is meant by spoof, types of spoof, etc. The three types are: humorous, ironic, and misconception.
she asked the similarity and the difference between spoof and previous lesson "recount"; generic srtucture. Both of them consist of events. In spoof, there are orientation, events, and twister.
She gave the students several text to be read, one of the students go in front, the other students have to listen and answered several questions orally regarding the text. One of the other students was asked to guess the twist.
Further activity, we were asked to make our own spoof. One of us was asked to read our work in front of the class, the rest listened to it in order to be able to answer several questions which would be asked orally.

"Descriptive Text"
she asked the difference between previous lesson "report text".....(which describe something more general) and "descriptive text... (which describe something specifically). Yeni divided the class into two group. The leaders of the groups were given an envelope which consist of model's name which would be described. The models are Rihanna and Dedy Corbusier. Two of the students were wearing the model's property; picture of the model's face, and holding the equipment which is mostly brought by Rihanna: mic, and dedy: cards. And the leader of the groups have to full fill the identification and the description of the model in a given paper.

she said about her problem in the beginning of the lesson, then ask for solution to students "what should I do?"
the students gave several suggestion/ advise
then she  asked what is the expression of asking for advise used by her, and explore the other ways in asking advise
the way how to respond the expression of asking for advise is showed through slide
one of the student asked about the use of "ought to"
she explained it further
she asked several students to state their problems and asking for advise to the other students using the appropriate expression
"i face difficulties in finishing my homework. what should I do?"
"I suggest you to consult it with your senior" etc
the one who got more candies (four candies) is given chance to compete with the one who get three candies (match problem with its suggestion in a piece of paper)
The one who can finish it quicker is given an Olympic medal
while crowning it to the winner, the music of "we are the champion" is played
"the best adviser ever" was written on the Olympic medal

Media: two manila papers which consist of picture column, material, utensil , steps, and finally column (ready to serve).
Three students have to make their own menu "hamburger" and "sandwich"
The ingredients is real or original.... she brought breads and other ingredients of it to the classroom
the first student has to full fill the manila paper
the second student has to demonstrate the ingredients and the steps how to make it
the third student has to do the steps with its ingredients and the picture of frying pan, plate as they cook it in reality (the lecturer give compliment toward the activities's originality)
the ones who not participate were given a picture of fb thumbs (like), they have to attach it on the paper of the best demonstrator afterwards
give reason why we choose A instead of B
What are the important things in making procedure?
as a reward, she take the students' picture since they had done a good job and promise to upload it through her fb account

One student comes in front as victim who has to describe the thief
No noise to avoid the thief running away
Everybody stands up
Catch the thief based on the description that the victim described
The teacher gives the victim a picture that should be described
Catch the picture; not the people
The one who is succeed to catch the thief will be given a star
But when there is no person who is able to catch the thief, the star will be given to the victim
