LANGUAGE LEARNING GAMES
This afternoon I've studied several techniques how to teach students using games and songs. This material was delivered by Dinda's group which consist of Dinda herself, Yoga, Wana, and Ngurah in which Dinda as the simulator.
Through games and songs learners practice and internalize VOCAB, GRAMMAR, and STRUCTURES inductively. They acquire language unconsciously through the activities in the classroom in which the way is as same as they acquired their mother tongue. Through games, teacher can help the learners to increase their motivation in learning English. Because it creates less stressful atmosphere in learning and teaching process. Games also can strengthen student's language skills and social skills. In this case, the thing that is concerned is language learning should be ENJOYABLE.
